This visa lets tertiary-educated people travel and work in Australia for up to 12 months. Applicants can also study for up to 4 months and travel to and from Australia multiple times.
Working Holiday Visa Australia is for those who want an extended holiday and want to work in Australia to fund their holiday. With this visa, an applicant can stay up to 12 months in Australia, do short-term work or study for up to 4 months, and travel to and from Australia multiple times.

Young adults must be 18 to 30 years old (inclusive) to be eligible for subclass 462 and 417 visas. However, the age limit to be eligible for a visa subclass 417 is 35 years for certain countries.
The person must not have previously entered Australia on subclass 462 or 417 visa. For becoming eligible for a second Work and Holiday Maker Program visa, the applicant must do three months of specified subclass 462 work or specified subclass 417 work. Moreover, applicants from certain countries must have a letter of support from their governments to be eligible for visa subclass 462. The applicant must apply online from outside Australia to meet the eligibility criteria for a second Working Holiday Visa Australia subclass 417.
The person must have previously entered Australia either on a visa subclass 462 or subclass 417. If in Australia, the person must hold a substantive visa, or their last substantive visa should have expired less than 28 days ago. To be eligible for Second Work and Holiday Visa Australia, the applicant must have completed three months of specified subclass 462 work or specified subclass 417 work. To qualify for a third Work and Holiday Visa Australia, an applicant must do six months of specified subclass 462 work or specified subclass 417 work.
The dependent children of the applicant must not accompany them.
