The person can apply for 408 visa work rights to participate in a special program to exchange culture, knowledge and social experiences. The applicant must be the right age for the special program they are applying for. A person can stay in Australia for up to twelve months.
Visa Subclass 408 lets an applicant do religious work full-time for a religious institution in the Australian continent. With the Temporary Activity Visa Subclass 408, the applicant and their family can stay for up to two years in Australia. The person must have a suitable employment contract and the right qualification or experience to do the religious work set out in their agreement.
An applicant can participate in or observe a research project at a tertiary or a research institution in Australia. For this visa, they must be invited for academic research or student research activities and be an established academic researcher, recent graduate or research student. The visa subclass 408 Research Activities lets you stay for up to two years in Australia.
Under visa subclass 408, a person can visit Australia if they are invited to take part in a community-based event, be it social or cultural, including sporting events. The applicant can stay up to three months in Australia on this visa.
Temporary Activity Visa subclass 408 (Sporting Activities) lets an applicant coach, play, instruct or adjudicate for an Australian team or do high-level sports training with a sporting organisation. It is mandatory for the person to have a contract as well as a letter of support from a peak sporting body and must not work outside the specified sporting activities. The person must be an eligible sports trainee, instructor, coach, elite player or adjudicator. The person must participate in full-time structured sports training, if applicable. The applicant can stay in Australia for up to two years with family members.
With the Temporary Activity visa, a person can work in the entertainment industry on television, film or live productions as a performer, production or support staff. They can stay for up to 2 years in Australia. They must have a contract or other proof of their activity in Australia. They must intend to work in an eligible entertainment activity category.
The applicant can work as a superyacht crew member with the Temporary Activity Visa Subclass 408. The 408 visa work rights let you stay for up to 12 months in Australia. It is mandatory for the applicant to have a contract for working as a member of a superyacht crew to be eligible for this visa. The applicant must also have a letter from the superyacht owner confirming the person's employment as a crew member of the vessel. Moreover, the applicant must be 18 years or older.
A person can come to Australia on 408 visa work rights to participate in a staff exchange with an Australian organisation. The applicant and their family members can stay up to two years in Australia on this visa. To be eligible, the applicant must have the skills and experience to exchange jobs with a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. Moreover, the Australian citizen or permanent resident and the applicant must benefit from the exchange arrangement.
On visa subclass 408, the applicant can come to Australia and do full-time domestic work in certain senior foreign executives' households. The applicant and their family members can stay up to two years in Australia. The visa applicant must be 18 years or older and be invited to work in the household. Moreover, the person must be experienced in domestic work. The Temporary Activity visa subclass 408 applicant must have a suitable employment contract.
