Skilled Recognised Graduate Visa Australia

This temporary visa allows recent engineering graduates to stay, work and study in Australia for up to 18 months. You must have completed an engineering degree or higher qualification from one of the specified institutions accredited under Washington Accord. The completed education must be finished in the last two years, and you must be less than 31 years of age.

The Skilled recognised Graduate Visa Subclass 476 lets you travel, work and study in Australia. A person can stay for 18 months in Australia. The visa subclass 476 holders can travel outside Australia and return as often as they want while the visa is valid.

You must have completed an engineering degree or higher qualification in the last two years from a specified institution, e.g.:

• Bachelors degree
• Masters degree
• Doctoral degree
• Post-graduate diploma

The qualification must be in one of the below engineering disciplines:

• Civil Engineeringl
• Structural Engineering 
• Environmental Engineering
• Electrical & Electrnoics Engineering
• Mechanical, production & Plant Engineering
• Mining & Material Engineering

The Skilled recognised Graduate visa subclass 476 applicant must be under 31 years of age.

The person must either provide evidence of their English language skills when they apply for the Skilled Recognised Graduate visa subclass 476 or show that they hold a valid passport from the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand or the Republic of Ireland.
Generally, the evidence is an English language test result. e.g. IELTS, PTE, TOEFL etc. The test results must not be more than three years old, and you must have scored an overall score of 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.0 in each component in IELTS (or equivalent).

You must meet Australia’s character requirements. The Department of Home Affairs Australia might also ask that other non-migrating family members meet the requirement.
